The Calder C-30 and its manual are made up for this course, and so are its codes and its pressure figures. They mean nothing on a real boiler. With a real product the same method works: give the AI the make, the model and the code, find the real manual, and check. Makers usually publish their manuals online. A search for the make, model and “installation manual” or “user manual” often finds one.
data/calder-c30-manual.mdA customer rings: no heating, and the boiler screen shows F1. It is a Calder C-30, a model Tom has not worked on.
He has a chat AI on his phone and ten minutes before he gets there.
This lesson shows how to use those ten minutes well, and where the AI's help has to stop.
