AI on the Job · Rules and manuals · Module 5
Two kinds of rules

On most jobs two sets of rules apply. The maker's manual says how this product must be fitted: space around it, valves, the supply it needs. Your country's rules say how all work of that kind must be done, for example the wiring rules. Some examples: the NEC in the US, BS 7671 in the UK, and AS/NZS 3000 in Australia and New Zealand. You need both. A chat AI often mixes them up.

A customer wants a new Aquaro WH-50 in the cupboard under the stairs. Maya, the firm's electrician, is pricing the job with Tom.

They need two answers fast: how much space the heater needs around it, and what the electrical supply has to be.

The AI can find these in seconds. Whether they are true is a different question.
